Too Cute To Spook Layout

Happy Thursday everyone! It is a tad bit chilly today with a little bit of rain.. Perfect for cozying up, drinking some hot cocoa, and just chillax. Just about a week ago, my car & I fell straight into the ditch after dropping off my kids from school. Super embarassing, but hey- it can happen. The renovation project is coming together nicely, but it is definitely taking longer than expected due to the days they take off to take on other projects or some other random thing that they have to do. I am getting extremely antsy, because everything should be done by the 2nd week of November. I'm just not seeing that. It's suppose to take 3 months, but now it seems like it's cutting into our holiday festivities. Not good. Not good. We have a whole lot of guests coming up this year, and staying with us... And the bedrooms are all filled with my stuff that have no home right now.

Too Cute To Spook

Halloween is coming soon, and my kids will have to miss out this year due to an all day birthday event that was planned out for my nephew... Kids are tad bummed out, and I feel them. A whole year of a wait just to be cancelled is something no one looks forward to, and that happen quite a bit last year due to covid restrictions.

For this layout, all patterned papers came from a collection made by Recollection, and only available at Michaels. U started out with a main blue piece in the background, and created layers with an edge punch made by EK Success. Ran the layout through the sewing machine. Picked out some cute pumpkins from Cricut Design Studios, and cut out the layers. Glued all the bits and pieces together to create those cute little pumpkins, and layered them around the right side of the page. I also added some more stitching to one of the pumpkins before adhering the 3rd pumpkin. Cut out lettering from dies and made some tags with punches. I cut out some bats I found on Cricut Design Studio. Popped a few bits and pieces up with dimensional foam adhesive. I distress the edges of my layout with my fingernails and fingers. And last, I added my journaling using a the We R Memory Keepers typewriter.
